Prepare the truck
MECHANICAL CONDITION
All clients must have proof of ownership or title (such as proforma invoice or bill of sale) to the vehicles being transported. Also, each vehicle must comply with regulations from the local transportation authorities and other governing bodies, such as having a fully functioning fire extinguisher, a first-aid kit, and flares or triangles. Also, each vehicle must be equipped with mud flaps, fully functioning rear lights, marker lights, turn signals, taillights, and a minimum tire skid depth of 3/32 inches.
CLIMATE
Vehicles must be prepared for the climate conditions of the final destination, including having the appropriate engine coolant, transmission fluids, and other fluids.
DRAINED BATTERY
Your vehicle must be in operable condition, including having the battery power to support its systems. Be sure to check your vehicle’s battery and systems to make sure they are in working order.
FREIGHT AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Customers need to remove all personal belongings from the vehicle being transferred. All materials that could be considered freight, such as furniture or vehicle parts, should also be removed.
ALARMS
Alarms and immobilizing systems must be disarmed, and our drivers should be informed of instructions for disarming alarms and starting the vehicle.
PHYSICAL CONDITION
As per the terms and conditions of our service, all vehicles must be checked for pre-existing issues concerning the physical condition. Check your vehicle for any damage, such as nicks, scratches, chips, cracks, and other imperfections.
