B13A Export Declaration Form
This form is required by Statistics Canada and the Canada Border Service Agency to report the export of various goods. Controlled, regulated, or prohibited goods must be declared regardless of value, and other materials must be declared if valued above CAD $2,000 and destined for countries other than the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
NAFTA Certificate of Origin
Vehicles also need a North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Certificate of Origin in order to prove qualification for preferential tariff treatment under NAFTA. This certificate is used by Canada, Mexico, and the United States, and it must be completed by the exporter. The manufacturer of the vehicle may also complete this form in order to advise the exporter’s copy.
